Ok.. So now I'm just back to being irritated. It's been 13 and counting since my brother said he wanted to get together and clear the air and still no word.
WTF?!?!? Guess it goes to show that he really doesn't care. At least this time it in now way can be our fault. He is making the decision (again, mind you) that he really doesn't want to talk to us and sort this all out. Which really.. it's fine with me. I really didn't want to have to deal with Bitch-in-law again. While, yes, I do miss my brother but really, I'm just glad THAT aggrevation is not around. I hate drama and BS, and every time we're around her, that's all there is.
I was willing to deal with her so that I could see my brother and neices... but.. oh well! Guess I don't have to pick.. the choice was made for me!

I had to write off my sister too so i semi understand how you feel (she has no kids so i don't know that part)
B I L sounds crazy and really it is your brother's fault for letting her control everything in their lives. Obviously he has no mind of his own to stick up for her and does not care that she is like this.
An in law should never try to keep families apart but it is up to the person with them to ultimately make the choice. Hope it gets better.
